I am hugely inspired by American family lifestyle photography: The Glow which is “a glimpse into the world of inspiring and fashionable moms”. I happened to have a very inspiring, artistic, stylist friend who fitted this bill exactly. When her husband booked a portrait shoot with me as a surprize Christmas gift I jumped at the chance of photographing their family with an editorial, lifestyle feel.

Stacie and I worked together pulling images that we liked and pre planning the shoot. We had worked together previously on bridal fashion shoots, so we treated the preparations in much the same way which really pays off. From inside the house, to the Caribbean garden and pool area and finally ending with the entire family jumping into the dock where their boat is moored!

This was shot just before we left the Caribbean and flew to South Africa. We are now based in Ballito and are available to shoot families here in South Africa.
