An all film maternity shoot in the forest is something I have been wanting to photograph for some time now. I follow the work of a number of all film photographers and this was my first pure film shoot for a portrait session. I did not take my digital camera with for backup / distraction and only concentrated on shooting with my beloved Contax 645 (medium format) film camera. I am beyond happy with the results. Thanks to Vicky & Jan for trusting me to shoot with that crazy film stuff !

I have wanted to try this hiding under the blanket shot ever since seeing it a couple of years back on Elizabeth Messina’s blog called KISS THE GROOM. I have ordered her book THE LUMINOUS PORTRAIT and I cannot wait for it to arrive!
