As photographers we don’t often find ourselves on the other side of the lens.  When my second photographer, Ernst told us that he was relocating to Cape Town, I figured it would be a great opportunity to do a family portrait swap at Kabeljou.  It definitely gives you a different perspective as a photographer when you’re in front of the lens.  Ernst has been working with me since 2017 and I cannot stress enough the great help he has been for me.  It’s been great fun and I could not have achieved the results I wanted without his help. Unfortunately now I’m going to have to find another photographer to replace him with.

I wish him and his family all the very best in Cape Town and hope these images will serve him well when he looks back and remembers J Bay and its memories with fondness.
