The benefit of using a photographer local photographer closer to home is the possibility of rescheduling your shoot should unplanned events arise. This was indeed the case with Maria and Digby who wanted a local family portrait in J Bay. We had to reschedule a couple times due to weather and a cold that was making its way from household to household in Jeffrey’s Bay. All good things come to those who wait, which proved to be the case for our shoot together. We were blessed with another beautiful winter afternoon in J Bay with a flock of flamingos even making an appearance on the Kabeljauw.

The Beyleveld’s are a truly beautiful family and I absolutely loved the way Maddie wanted to emulate everything her older brother Calum did. It’s great to see such a wonderful bond that exists between siblings, and I hope they enjoy looking back on their memories with great fondness for many years to come.
