Family Photoshoot at Cape St Francis
I have been fortunate enough to photograph the Van Straaten family for the third year in St Francis. It’s always great to see how the children are growing up. With our own daughter, we often refer back to images as a reference of how much she’s grown and how fast she’s doing it. To be asked to be present as a photographer each year and witness how much their children are growing up is something I love doing. Taking the family to Cape St Francis is also a great location to let the kids explore one of my favourite places. Emma is extremely sure footed across the rocks and the collection of shells to be found was clearly a highlight. Ben, being a little younger, was allowing his imagination to run wild in his new surroundings, while Adam was soaking it all in. When I first met Ben, he was around the same age as Adam is now. It’s amazing to see how they have evolved and developed and their personalities have been allowed to flourish. A beautiful family, inside and out.
