Quayside St Francis Bay Wedding: A Boho Beach Blessing
Quick answer
What is a Quayside wedding in St Francis Bay like?
Relaxed and very boho. Guests left The Quaysyde on barges and came ashore on an intimate beach decked out with driftwood and hand-crocheted dream catchers, with colourful throws to sit on. The blessing was simple and natural, and nothing was overdone. Very much Gareth and Faye. St Francis is one of their favourite places, so it was always going to be here. Then back on the barges to The Quaysyde for drinks, food and dancing, and the big surprise of the night: Gareth revealing their baby's gender. A girl, at about 17 weeks. Faye hadn't known. If you want a small St Francis Bay wedding with a short trip on the water, have a scroll through this one.
Gareth and Faye are your proverbial Yin and Yang couple. Gareth is calm and rational to Faye’s wild, dreamy personality. They are both however involved in helping people achieve their goals and aspirations. Faye works with children with learning disabilities as an educational psychologist and Gareth works as a Sports Nutritionist whose passion lies in Triathlons.
They both see St Francis as one of, if not their favourite place to be. It was always going to be their wedding destination and they opted for a Quayside wedding in St Francis. From The Quaysyde guests were transported via barges to an intimate beach decorated with driftwood and hand crocheted dream catchers. Seating was provided by way of colourful throws. Style over essence comes to mind when describing this boho wedding. All very tastefully done, avoiding any over the top elaborations. Pretty much representing the couple at hand. Not after anything complicated or overdone but rather simple and natural.
After a splendid boho blessing, guests were transported back to Quasyde for the reception with drinks, food and dancing. The highlight of the evening though was Gareth revealing the gender of their baby girl who was approx 17 weeks and counting. Faye had no idea and an already emotional event went into overdrive with the news. Congratulations to you both on the start of another exciting adventure.
